exhaustion
you kno that foggy feeling you have when you haven't gotten enough sleep? all you can think about is the next avaliable time you have to take a nap, uou can' think straight, you can't process information normally. That is how I feel rveveryday I keep thinking if I csn just sleep more this foggy feeling will go away an I'll feel human again. but, alas, no such luck, I sleep all of the time and it never feels like enough, the only time I've feltclear headed since the stroke wa after good percocet induced sleep wehen Iwas still in the hospital. Iwould love to feel that clear headed again, hopefully some day I'll wake up and beable to see through the fog.

I've just joined your site via Gina at The Feminist Breeder. I wanted to let you know that even up in Canada you have people praying for your recovery and sending you vibes for recovery and strength across the distance. I have a daughter named Charlotte as well. Mommy is not the person who changes the diapers or gives the baths. Mommy is the one whose smell will always be familiar to your baby, who loves her unconditionally, who would do anything for her, who holds her and guides her as only a mother can. Think of what an amazing role model you are for your daughter, the strength and perseverance in the face of adversity that you are modeling for her. There is no greater gift.
ReplyDeleteYou are so strong and brave! I found you through the Feminist Breeder. I'm sending you good thoughts, love, and strength today.
ReplyDeletejust agreeing with what the other commenters wrote.. you sound very brave, smart, and full of love for your baby. so yeah, count me in as another fan of yours. i live in boliva, south america, so yup, you have a global readership. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou're working your ass off to get better, that's why you're so exhausted. If I know anything about you, it's how hard to work, and how much you hate being sick. Just keep fighting and keep getting better, and eventually the exhaustion will fade.
ReplyDeletethats so true i feel the same way and its be 7 years for me
